Lisa soon knew she wanted to learn an instrument and started playing the piano at the age of five. Later she won prizes at “Jugend musiziert”, a German talent show for classical music.
As a young girl, she sang in and performed with classical choirs, such as the Landesjugendchor Baden-Wuerttemberg and several musicals and thus gathered a lot of stage experience.
After graduating from high school and a Voluntary Year of Social Service in Latin America, she spent two semesters in Columbia studying piano with Andres Silva and voice with Pilar Levya at the Juan N.Corpas University. Continuing her studies in Germany at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, she took voice lessons in jazz and pop music with teachers as Anette von Eichel, Susanne Schneider, Jay Clayton, Sidsel Endresen, Norma Winstone, Jen Shyu, Bob Stoloff and Tessa Souter. In 2013 she spent three months in São Paulo and Rio (Brazil) to learn more about Brazilian language, culture and music. For the same reasons she went to New York for one month in 2014. Since november 2015 she attends the training course “applied physiology of the voice” at the Lichtenberger® Institute.
Today Lisa can be seen with her own band “Charlotte’s most wanted” as well as many other groups.
